I’m a freelance writer with more than 15 years of experience as a writer for hire. I got my start at VM+SD, a trade magazine for retail architects, designers, and visual merchandising and store design professionals. After various stints writing for a local newspaper, other national trade publications for the retail industry, and the marketing department of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield/WellPoint, I transitioned to independent pen for hire.

Since going freelance in February 2007, clients have included national Fortune 500 companies as well as internet start-ups, and everything in between. I’ve learned that while there is such a thing as too much work, it’s not a bad problem to have. Projects have included:
